I had a dream once as a kid that weirds me out to this day. I seemingly "woke up" to a figure sitting at the foot of my bed. It was a figure in a crimson red cloak and wore a mask with a rather petite smile to it. I wasn't afraid or anything and actually held a conversation with it about this and that. It would react in the only way it could, in subtle gestures, mainly regarding the upper body. Eventually, i would get weirded out and attempted to go under the covers. Once i did, i got out from under them to see that the figure was gone. To this day, the red cloaked figure with the white mask has stumped me to this day.
Based on your dream, it seems to symbolize a sense of both intrigue and mystery. The figure in the crimson red cloak and white mask could represent an aspect of yourself or an unknown presence in your life. The conversation you had with the figure indicates a willingness to explore and understand the unknown. The subtle gestures suggest that this presence may communicate with you in indirect ways.
The act of going under the covers could symbolize your desire to retreat or seek comfort from the unknown. However, when you emerged from under the covers and found the figure gone, it may suggest that you cannot fully hide or escape from this enigmatic presence.
Overall, the dream may reflect your curiosity and fascination with the mysteries of life. It could also indicate an innate sense of comfort and fearlessness in exploring the unknown. The stumped feeling you experience afterwards suggests that this dream has left a lasting impression on you, perhaps triggering a sense of wonder or uncertainty about the deeper meanings behind it.
